In fact, automation is what’s allowed me to run a business on autopilot while traveling the world and sipping margaritas on the beach as often as I want.

I love automation and leverage in my business and I’m pretty sure I could not run my business as efficiently as I do now without an email autoresponder.
I estimate that without my email autoresponder I would be spending an additional five hours a day doing manual things that I easily do with just the click of a few buttons in my email marketing system.
And that would probably make me one cranky woman.
Let’s go ahead and dive in to how I use my email autoresponder and how it can work for you too!
An email autoresponder is an email service that allows you to collect your subscriber's contact details and then set up a series of pre-written email messages that you send to your subscribers all at once.
You can create a scheduled sequence of emails or you can do a one-time email broadcast.
If you’re not exactly sure what that means, don’t worry, I’ll explain in a minute.
I personally use my email autoresponder service to communicate with my network marketing team and also to communicate with my prospects so I can turn them into potential team mates or buyers of my products.
This isn’t something you can do inside of a free email service like Yahoo or Gmail.
An email autoresponder is pretty much like email on steroids.
It’s definitely a tool that will allow you to build automation in your business and also leverage your time.
If your network marketing company has an email autoresponder service then that’s great but I don’t recommend you use it.
Here’s why…
You want to own and control your email list.
Should you ever decide to jump ship or take a different direction in your business, you’ll be able to continue to communicate with your subscribers, if you own the list.
However, if you keep putting people through your network marketing companies email autoresponder, they essentially own that list and you’ll end up losing access to that entire list.
I use my email autoresponder in two different ways:
• I use it to prospect people into my network marketing business
• I use it to communicate with my teammates and using your email auto-responder to prospect is extremely powerful.
You can create several different lists of subscribers so that you can control the information that goes out to them.
For example, with my network marketing team, I send out announcements and information to keep them engaged and excited about the business. Also, as a way to stay in touch. I wouldn’t be able to do this with a large team, if I didn’t have an autoresponder.
Statistically, it’s been proven that messages are more effective when people are exposed to them repeatedly.
If you’re in network marketing then you already know that follow up is extremely important.
And that’s what your email autoresponder will do for you.
Instead of contacting each and every person individually, which is not the best use of your time, you’ll have the ability to send mass emails and drip relevant content to your subscribers over a period of time.
That’s how I keep my prospects in the loop about my business and expose them enough times to get them to take action on either buying my products or joining my team.

Regardless of the email marketing service you use, you’ll need email sequences that are good enough to get your subscribers to open up and read your emails.
Most email sequence messages aren’t all that good because most of them are about the person writing the email. Your email autoresponder messages need to be about the prospect.
