I know this is what we all want as Team Builders. More team duplication!
Think about why your joined your business.
You probably saw the vision of leverage like me, right?
We never got started to do more work. We got started to created time and money freedom.
So wouldn't it make sense that we have systems in place to make this happen?
If we know each other, you know that I live systems and automation. I love leverage and I'm continually on a mission to make systems better and more efficient.
In doing so with our team, I've designed a super simple, 10 step checklist that helps me work with my team better and to create the duplication that we all dream about.
I gave this checklist away on a live hangout that I did the other night and I promised everyone that joined me live that I would do a video on how to use the checklist.
If you don't have the checklist already, you can download here and follow along in the video
Why I created this Team Building Checklist
As the #3 recruiter in my company, we enroll a lot of people and I needed a way to make sure that I was working with each person effectively.
The checklist is more for me as their sponsor, but by asking our new teammate these questions, it gets them opening up to me so I can really help them.
It also shows them that I truly care about THEIR needs and goals.
Before having this checklist, I would forget how I should be working with my team.
You'll see what I mean in the video.
What if you don't have a big team yet?
Start using it now. It doesn't matter if your team is big, small or non-existent right now, start using it, because it will put you further ahead in your team building faster.
You have to remember that when you're building a team, it's not about you. It's about your team member.
It's about their income goals, how much extra time they have to invest and what their WHY is.
When you use this checklist, it will help you to extract this information from your new teammate and it will also provide clarity to you on how you should be investing your time with them.
One of my favorite things about the checklist is it reminds you to put the location of your new teammate.
I love this, because we enroll new team member all over the world and it allows me to keep track for where everyone is at a glance; so when we have our regional training events each month, I can see where the events are, skim down the list and make sure my team member is registered and plugged into the training.
Before, I'd have to try to remember where everyone lived…. Yeah that didn't happen, I have an adventurous memory 🙂
I'm excited for you to use this checklist in your team, to boost your team duplication!!
